In week 37 of our chronological journey, we meet Daniel, who has found favor with King Darius, and that favor threatened the other leaders. Some of us know what it is to be Daniel, facing unknowns in a "den of lions," practicing a costly allegiance to a faithful God. We also know that pressure reveals what we are willing to do when something we value is at risk (in this case, power). Because God remains worthy of our trust, even in times of crisis, we can remain faithful under pressure.
