This week, we learn from the Teacher who has seen and done it all, only to determine it all meaningless. In his search for meaning under the sun, the Teacher determines that life is short, death comes for us all, and life does not go as planned. At the end of these reflections in the book of Ecclesiastes, he arrives at a conclusion about what really matters and what the duty of all humankind is — this is where our sermon finds us.
