As we continue our chronological journey through the Bible, we arrive as Joshua steps into leadership, and the LORD issues His call for him to lead the people with courage and strength. Joshua can be courageous because the LORD is present with Him. We learn in this passage that because God goes with His people and guides them with His Word, we are called to press forward in courage and obedience.
