Park Ridge Free Methodist Church

Get to Know Park Ridge

SUNDAY MORNING
9:30 AM

Sunday morning service begins at 9:30 and lasts 45-60 minutes. We are a Bible-teaching church,
offering a variety of musical styles from week to week including hymns and contemporary songs. Join
us – and feel free to dress as you feel comfortable!

Everyone is welcome to bring their own Bible to worship, but we also have copies available for your use in the pews & all Scripture is displayed on the projector screens.

At Park Ridge, we want you to come just as you are. You will find people dressed anywhere from suits or dresses to jeans and t-shirts and even shorts.

The Park Ridge Free Methodist Church was born under the leadership of Rev. Roy Goodrich. Organized in 1946, the early church met in a rented pony barn at the corner of Ridge Road and Fetzner (current location of The Marriot). Two years later, we became an official church. In 1950, a new church on Ridge Road was built at a cost of $28,000.00 (currently a Chick-fil-A).

With a vision for greater ministry, a 5 acre lot was purchased from the Wegman family. On September 28, 1969, the current facility, located at the corner of Straub Road and Long Pond Road, was dedicated. Since that time, the church has continued to experience healthy growth as they reach out to the community of Greece and the greater Rochester area.

Who are the people of Park Ridge? We are imperfect people who love God and love people by following Jesus; making disciples as He did; Connecting to the disconnected; Engaging with the unengaged; Helping people live the life God intended them to live.
