Park Ridge Free Methodist Church

About Us

Our History

The Park Ridge Free Methodist Church was born under the leadership of Rev. Roy Goodrich. Organized in 1946, the early church met in a rented pony barn at the corner of Ridge Road and Fetzner (current location of The Marriot). Two years later, we became an official church. In 1950, a new church on Ridge Road was built at a cost of $28,000.00 (currently a Chick-fil-A).

With a vision for greater ministry, a 5 acre lot was purchased from the Wegman family. On September 28, 1969, the current facility, located at the corner of Straub Road and Long Pond Road, was dedicated. Since that time, the church has continued to experience healthy growth as they reach out to the community of Greece and the greater Rochester area.

Mission & Vision

The Park Ridge Free Methodist Church is committed to be a family of believers who love God wholeheartedly, love others unconditionally, and make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
