All Services and Activities Cancelled Until Further Notice

As you know, the Co-vid 19 virus is spreading in our area. All schools and many businesses have closed until further notice. Although we want to remain calm, we also want to be cautious and follow the requirements given by health and government officials. That is why effective immediately, all church gatherings and activities have been canceled until we hear that it’s safe to return. That includes preschool, all midweek activities, and all Sunday services. We are hoping and praying that this crisis will pass quickly and that we will resume all services.

Until then, your pastors and a small group of praise team members will be live-streaming Sunday morning services on the Park Ridge Free Methodist Facebook and YouTube pages. We are also implementing online giving for your convenience and you will receive more information within the next couple of days. We will be sending out regular emails to encourage and inform. We are planning to offer different opportunities throughout the weeks for devotions and prayer, hymn sings and worship, via live stream on facebook. If you have any questions or need prayer or help with something, contact the office or one of the pastors.

Humankind has always faced severe emergencies throughout the ages from plagues to pestilence, famines and natural disasters, wars and economic difficulties. But through it all, they have recovered. Through it all, God’s children have continued to trust in God and become His agents of peace and hope and prayer warriors. They have extended their reach to help others. They have kept the faith and they have trusted in God. They (and us) will continue to do the same.

So please be in constant prayer that this virus will end and normalcy will return. Be in prayer for the most vulnerable in our society will stay safe and healthy. Use caution and wisdom about your choices. Help those who you can. And above all things, TRUST IN GOD!
